When
we undertake a survey these are the key points we look for:
- Measure
area that requires air conditioning
- If suspended
ceiling check ceiling void
- If no
false ceiling, decide what equipment is most suited
- Check
what positions are available for out door unit i.e. ground level, high
level, wall mount on brackets, flat roof area etc.
- Measure
approximate pipe run length Check what type of condense drain can be
used (i.e. gravity drain, or will it require a mechanical pump?)
- Availability
and location of electrical supply
- Where
services will exit building
- The thickness
of walls.
- Will we
require any specialist services (i.e. builder, specialist lifting company?)
- Access
to and from site
- Will an
access tower be required?
